Out and about or not

rhionnachI didn't go out last night. I stayed put and vegged in front of the TV. In addition to anything else I was extremely tired so wouldn't have made good company anyway. I tend to go silent when I'm tired and I was tired enough to feel in that state most of the evening.
What last night highlighted for me was the fact that I suppose I ought to get myself some kind of going out clothes. I have some stuff that is for the winter months, such as my crushed velvet top and skirt, but summer has now begun here (yay!) and it's too warm to wear it. I have very many t shirts, SF, Pagan, even Viking, but not ones that could be worn going out. I have things I wear for work but they're not really acceptable for going out with. I also have a lot of black. I suppose I ought to take a look in M&S and see what I can find. I prefer XL or XXL t shirts for comfort so my natural tendency is to buy stuff in the mens department but that's not very girly!
It's not that I don't go out but I've manage to get away with what I have for quite some time. It's the girliness of last night and the fact that they were all talking about what they were going to wear that I had a problem with.
I'm going out tonight but it's a Pagan social moot so clothes are not such a problem.
