Yeah, we kind of got slapped on that one but I don't care. Just 'cause it's by a fellow member doesn't mean it's right. I see what they were trying to accomplish and would have liked to see the tools and other things associated with the exhibit, but srsly. I know everything was painted and decorated but I'm just so _not_ seeing that boat as authentic. Ours will be when it's done. It's about the same size, well the same length but accurate to size and pattern as the small boat that was attached to the Oseburg ship. I think it's that ship. Don't have the link handy now but we got the boat patterns from the museum affiliate that built the boat. The main boat is being rebuilt now and he's sending "build as you go" pattern pieces.

I do like the cardboard and plastic one. I'd float that boat. As long as the water wasn't too deep that is. LOL
