Star Trek dreams

rhionnachI'm going to see Star Trek tonight at the IMAX. I am really looking forward to it. Last night, however, I had a terrible dream in which everything seemed to go wrong with my attempt to see it.
I dreamed that I had turned up and was shown into the cinema which didn't appear to be an IMAX but was some kind of school assembly hall with rows of wooden chairs. In addition to this the room was L-shaped so there were two screens, one pointing down each leg of the L. People were filling up the seats and I was perched on the edge of a row. The audience wouldn't be quiet, with people running about talking to friends.
Then the film broke down and we were told to leave while they fixed it. For some reason this then involved finding myself in a part of Glasgow about a mile away from where I should be and having to run to get back in time for the new start. I was running bent over, doing a bunny hop style of running last seen on the Moon, and I was becoming quite frantic about ever reaching the cinema!
Once in the cinema we discovered the staff were refusing to show the film as they were running late and wanting to go home. Eventually they relented but then they only showed the beginning and the end and tried to argue that was the complete film. I was getting quite annoyed about it all.
I do hope things go more smoothly tonight!

Date: 2009-05-07 07:16 am (UTC)I dreamt that when I sat down in the main cinema hall, that it was full of kids running about, doing my head in. After shouting at them a few times, a member of staff directed me and the people I was with to a small private room. It had a teeny wee screen but, yay, peace to watch the film!
Except that it didn`t show the film. It showed a few TNG eps instead! We were not amused!
I`m not sure when I`ll actually get to see the film. Hopefully soon!
