JG Ballard dies at 78

I have just come in to discover that JG Ballard has died. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8007331.stm

I would post this to the Trout LJ but I find I am still blocked from making any initial posts. I can comment on posts but not make one of my own.
