Nov. 14th, 2004 09:20 amLast night, I tore up my Pagan Federation membership card. When my membership runs out next year I will not be renewing it.
I had hoped to achieve some sort of resolution to the insult I received when I was informed that I was too " abrasive" to volunteer to do anything for the PF and took my complaint to the Scottish Council yesterday. But it achieved nothing as they had followed the correct PF procedure in only consulting certain office bearers, who do not know me, and it was also based on the District manager's fantasy of me being abrasive. He refused to explain where this had come from. I was not asking for names and addresses but an idea of what I am supposed to have done. I therefore do not know how and in what way I am supposed to be "abrasive". I could even be being abrasive as I write this and I wouldn't know.
So, to hell with them.
I consider myself to be a PF member no longer, and as I have been a member since 1987 I think that is quite sad.
