I saw "Star Trek" of course! For the 11th time.

Yes. And I did.

I was brought up in the Church of Scotland and now I'm a Pagan.

Yes, she was in the year above me doing the same course as me. My name isn't all that unusual but there is a particularly Scottish spelling of my name which I frequently get except that in my case (and hers) it was the wrong one.

I fail to see how this swine flu is any different to any other kind of flu. If I get it, I get it, it's my wyrd.

I do have to wonder at all the flapping that seems to be going on. I think it's interesting that the two who have it in Scotland have recently acquired Max Clifford as their publicist, fresh from handling Jade Goody.

I'm not very sure if I've ever had flu or just had a very bad cold so I've got nothing to measure it with. And I'm certainly not including any variety of "man flu"!

This must be some odd American custom as I've certainly never heard of it before. And what about the bottom of the morning?

I was a member of the Principality of the Far Isles http://cunnan.sca.org.au/wiki/Far_Isles when I lived in London. I had to create a persona so came up with the character of Rhionnach Olafsdottir, from 10th century Galloway. This persona had a Celtic mother and a Viking father. At the time I had been reading The Copper Crown, the first written book of The Keltiad series by Patricia Kennealy-Morrison http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Keltiad. I took the first name from a character in the book, the spelling is slightly different but the name is essentially the same. When I became active on the internet I began using the name as my user name.
