Football - fuckwits

rhionnachIt's a well known fact that I hate, despise, and detest all football teams. So how the hell did I end up discussing the misfortunes of Glasgow Rangers tonight? This particular lot has gone into receivership - big bloody deal. I am shedding tears (not). There are far more important things to bother about but some idiots here seem to think the bottom has dropped out of their sad little world. To which I can only say "Get a Life!".
Why do people seem to think that the particular football team they follow gives a damn about them? Why do they talk about "my team" "us" " we" etc? The team they follow doesn't give a damn about them, just as long as they hand over their money so that the team can continue to pay their overpaid overrated prima donna players money that they DO NOT DESERVE.
Get real people. These teams do not give a damn about their supporters. They are a BUSINESS whose job it is to make money for the shareholders - and defraud the taxman if they can get away with it. They do not care about the supporters beyond getting as much cash out of them as they can.
I was put off the whole football team thing due to my encounter with the St Mirren team back in the day who seemed to think they were due some kind of special treatment because they were "famous footballers". F**king wankers! My cousin played football for a variety of teams (second rate or whatever?) and then ended up chucking in his SFA job to work for Rangers so what kind of fool (wanker, whatever) is he?
I detest football. You can tell can't you?
