That is *such* an eloquent testimony to the power of original Trek - don't know if I could claim it to be such a transformative power in my life - although I was an avid follower from the time it first manifested as the 'Who' slot filler in 1969.
Must admit that 'Nemesis' didn't really do it for me, although I did enjoy the sequence where certain officers sing the number I am doing in the current run of HMS Pinafore ("A British Tar").
