Viking pornography

I am somewhat puzzled at my work's "net nanny" software blocking this site http://www.jorvik.co.uk/ as "pornography"! Needless to say I looked at it as soon I got home to try to work out what could possibly be described as porn. I can't see it. Can you?

What a great disappointment. I want my 10 seconds back. ;)

Oh,it's those pornographic Vikings, at it again! They must be stopped!!

Yeesh. I didn't realize that "net nanny" parameters were so fierce.

Snortle. Thou shalt not go a-Viking! (I have actually been a-Jorviking, tho' that was long ago. It was ... unexciting. It was supposed to have smell-o-vision, but that was not immediately apparent.)

Sorry, couldn't see it. Site blocked.

Honestly, it's another example of inherently flawed nature of 'adult-content' filters. Reminds me of the time some plant breeders I knew got blocked from accessing information needed for their research by company filters: they were looking for information on sex-linked genes.

It's not blocked by ours, which is a surprise, as half the bloody web is...

The first such software I ran into some years back wouldn't let me enter a client code - we used a "first three letters of last name + 3 digit number" identifier, so Mr Titterington was unacceptable!

I wonder if it's looking for certain shapes? If you *squint* at that helmet the nose-piece *could* look a bit like a gentleman's dangly bits.

They blocked few nalbinding sites at work because ....... we never did figure out why. We used to be able to access them and then, the day we tried to print out instructions, we couldn't get on. I have no idea what the problem was.
