Thinking of a friend's loss
Mar. 5th, 2012 06:48 pmAs is my usual habit over breakfast I scroll through the entries on both Facebook and on Livejournal while drinking my coffee and eating my toast. Normally it's the usual jokes, comments, daft photos, etc, but this morning I was completely stunned to read that
popfiend's wife had died suddenly yesterday. Absolutely shocking!
popfiend is easily the nicest, most caring guy on the internet. And his love for his wife shines through every post. We would all be so lucky to have even a quarter of that kind of love. He takes the time to post a special birthday message for everyone on his f-list. Only a couple of weeks ago their house was broken into, causing much upset, and yet
popfiend was apologising for not making his usual birthday posts.
There is nothing anyone can say that will make this terrible situation any better for
popfiend. He's not been very far from my thoughts all day.
