Not quite how I planned it

Yesterday didn't quite work out the way I was expecting it to. I had a text from a friend telling me he was planning to go to the cinema. So I wandered into town and ended up watching Wolverine. Unfortunately I fell asleep during the film. I could feel myself going and tried hard to stay awake but it didn't work. I remember seeing someone lying there with their lips sewn together, which made me think of Loki, and then the next thing I remember was wakening up to see a blue guy falling in pieces into a disintegrating cooling tower. I had managed to miss the climactic battle, dammit! I suppose I'll catch up with the film at some point.

I then went off to watch Star Trek for the sixth time, having met up with brenmacneil, while my friend went to see Angels and Demons. Then the three of us went to a pub for a drink and ended up standing outside watching the Fire Brigade checking the place out after the fire alarm went off. Fun and games!

Yes, she was in the year above me doing the same course as me. My name isn't all that unusual but there is a particularly Scottish spelling of my name which I frequently get except that in my case (and hers) it was the wrong one.
