http://www.meetup.com/Glasgow-Film-Fans/ I decided to get a Cineworld Unlimited card as it's far more economical for regular cinema-going. It's certainly been worth it. And all has been well until I decided to go to the cinema last Saturday to see "Slumdog Millionaire".
I handed my card over, it was swiped through the reader, and then the guy said that there was some sort of problem. He had to go off to phone someone about it. When he eventually came back he told me that the card had been reported as lost a few days ago, even although it clearly wasn't, and a new one was on its way to me. He then put me on the phone to the person he had been talking to so that we could get this cleared up. It turned out that someone in his office had reversed the numbers in my flat number and had ordered up a new card, thus invalidating the one I had. He checked my address details with me and put it back the way it should have been.
By the end of this week I expect to receive the third card which ought to put an end to it all.
