I went to bed at 8.00pm last night. I guess I needed it as I am feeling a bit more human this morning, although not quite up to running a 10k (or for a bus). I slept from 10.00pm when I put the light off after reading a few more chapters of "The White Raven", the third book in the Oathsworn series by Robert Low http://robert-low.com/. It's a good read and again, as in the earlier books, there's a few characters who seem somewhat familiar to those of us in the Glasgow Vikings. Wonder why that is? :-)

I had a slightly mysterious occurence. I took my bookmark out of the book and left it lying on the pillow. When I went to replace it in the book it had vanished. It wasn't under the pillow, under the quilt, between the pillows, or inside the pillowcases. It just wasn't there! Very odd. I thought I might waken up this morning to find it in the bed with me but no, unlike the time I woke up to find my valknut in bed with me, it hasn't reappeared.

I am somewhat puzzled at my work's "net nanny" software blocking this site http://www.jorvik.co.uk/ as "pornography"! Needless to say I looked at it as soon I got home to try to work out what could possibly be described as porn. I can't see it. Can you?
