No joy with the CoA - again!
Dec. 28th, 2003 05:37 pmI have tried, yet again, to access the Children of Artemis website forums but, guess what? I STILL cannot get in! That's almost a year, in fact, it will be a year in January! I am still waiting for the CoA to get their act together. This is what happened. It's taken from my posting on Wicca UK.
"I have now had an explanation of what has happened with the CoA.
However, it didn't come by email but face to face through a person as he
has spoken with Merlyn at CoA.
I was suspended because I posted a reply about a non CoA moot (the
Glasgow city centre one in Blackfriars) and someone took fright and
thought it was some sort of evil PF plan to subvert things somehow so
they suspended me. However, they didn't bother to inform me that I
had been suspended, which would have been the sensible thing to do as
it would have got the whole thing cleared up promptly. I tried to
rejoin and this was also treated as no-no and I got even more
suspended (if that's possible).
The whole situation is down to the fact no one tells anyone anything.
If whoever had taken the decision to suspend me had bothered to email
me about it we could have got it sorted out there and then.
Apparently it was one of the moderators (not Merlyn) who did it and,
as I understand it, this person never told Merlyn that they had done
so.
I emailed CoA several times to try to find out what had happened and
got more and more annoyed when I was ignored. I wasn't banned, which
results in no correspondence whatsoever, but I was suspended which
amounts to much the same thing as far as I can see. However, I have
been told that they are trying to address the problems of too many
emails and not enough people to deal with them and I should be
allowed back in at some point.
I'll let you know how that goes."
However, I'm still waiting.
