I went out for a walk last night during which I managed to add in a few runs. Nothing major, and certainly nothing like the 6 miles I used to be able to go out and run without giving it too much thought. I have a long slog ahead of me to get back to that level. But I did it without feeling too pissed off at myself for not doing better.

I will have to make sure a couple of things are kept under better control. I hate bouncing (it looks and feels so bad) so will have to make sure I wear my good M&S sports bra. I never used to have this problem!

When I came in I had something to eat, watched some TV, checked my email, read some LJ, and then felt tired enough that I went to bed at 9.30pm. I then managed to sleep all night, with some entertaining dreams involving going on boating trips along small canals that appeared to have been created in the Highlands. I also went to a pub for Sunday lunch with Stephen Fry where we read the newspapers and magazines. I seem to have had a good holiday last night!

Two nights ago I was having awesome convention dreams. It wasn't in a hotel it was in a school and program items were being held on the hockey pitch and Tig was doing a sound effects item with a theramin. It was going great.

Weird how dreams can be so detailed. I have to admit I've always been puzzled by the "dreaming in colour or not" debate that people have. I've always dreamed in colour. It makes no sense not to when that's how we see the world when we're awake.

I've found the best bras at the moment are the shock absorber jobbies. They aren't cheap but by hell are they good.

I've bought some from an ebay shop and they do come a couple of quid cheaper than the shops.

You might need a size bigger back size (and therefore a size smaller cup) tho because they can be tight.

Yes, I used to wear them all the time back in the days when I was weight-training, running, and doing aerobics (not all at the same time!). They are good. My problem is that I know I will lose weight when I get back into running and so it's not such a good idea to buy expensive bras when hopefully they won't fit me in the end!

At the moment I have a M&S one which zips up the front and seems to hold me in place. My mistake yesterday was to wear one of Asda's "sports" bras which is fine for day to day wear but doesn't actually do the job I want it do when running.
