Off to the coast

I am going to Saltcoats today as the trains are more likely to be running without any funny business on a Saturday as opposed to Sundays. I think Central Station has adjusted to the new signals they installed at Xmas although it still seems to come as a surprise to them that people expect to be informed as to what platform their train will be at in enough time for them to get to it. This is especially so with platform 11A, now renamed platform 12. This doesn't mean that it has moved closer to the station concourse, you still have a good long walk to reach it.

I think I will head in via Mono for a bite to eat (Why not? It's my birthday tomorrow!).
